Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.

Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.

Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?

Can I tune an Ouxi C80 Mini or QMWheel V20 Mini?
No. The Ouxi C80 Mini, C63 Mini and the QMWheel V20 Mini cannot be tuned. There is no tunable controller or tunable display for these models; they stay restricted to 25 km/h. Do you want to tune after all? Then have a look at the Ouxi C80, V8 or GT2000 and the QMWheel V20 or V20 Pro.

The 20×4 inch tyres of a fatbike absorb the bumps that make an ordinary e-bike bounce. You barely feel cobbles, speed bumps, tree roots and manhole covers. Because fatbike tyres are ridden at low pressure (around 1.0-1.4 bar), you effectively have natural damping built in, without needing an expensive suspension fork. On longer rides you clearly notice that in your back, wrists and neck.

With a range of 40 to 60 km on a single battery, and up to 120 km on models with a dual battery, you ride return commutes such as Amsterdam-Haarlem or Antwerp-Mechelen without charging in between.
