With the battery switch you turn your battery's power on or off. Disconnect the battery before you replace the switch and, when connecting, pay close attention to which wire goes where, so everything is correct again. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.

Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
