With a crank puller you easily remove the crank from the axle without damaging your fatbike. First loosen the lock nut or cap, screw the crank puller fully into the thread of the crank by hand and only then turn it further with a wrench. This way you prevent stripping the thread.

Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.

Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
