Suitable for: all Ouxi and QMWheel Fatbikes 16 / 20 / 24 inch with a 3-pin throttle connection on your wiring harness
(Check carefully whether the part fits your Fatbike, by way of a throttle connection on your wiring harness at the handlebars)
(Throttles are allowed a maximum of 6 km/h in the Netherlands)
You install a thumb throttle by unscrewing the old lever and removing it from the handlebar. Slide the new thumb throttle onto the handlebar, secure it in a comfortable position, and plug the connector back into the same connection on your controller. Pro tip: position the lever so you can operate it easily with your thumb without reaching. After installation, calmly test whether it presses in smoothly and springs back neatly.

Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?

Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.

Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
