If a connection becomes damaged, replacing the wiring harness can be the solution. Turn the bike off and disconnect the plugs one by one, so you clearly remember which cable goes where. Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?

Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.

I still have a 1st generation and this harness went straight in.
All the plugs clicked in without forcing, didn't have to cut anything.
my old harness was worn through at the head tube, this one lies better along the frame.
Works fine. The colours of the wires differ a bit from my old harness, so look carefully.
The rubber grommets around the plugs are sturdy, that keeps the moisture out.
I wasn't sure about the generation, after a photo through the app I knew for sure indeed.
After replacing it my lights worked again too.
