This is an intermediate cable used between the fatbike's motor and the controller. The cable ensures a reliable connection between both components, so that the motor is controlled correctly.
The motor cable is only suitable for fatbikes with a black motor cable connection. Durable and ideal for replacing a damaged cable or for maintenance of the motor-controller connection.
You use a motor extension cable to bridge the distance between the motor and the controller. When connecting, make sure the plugs match properly in color and shape and that they click firmly into place; this prevents a poor connection. Can't manage it yourself or in doubt? Pro tip: tuck the cable neatly along the frame with cable ties, so it can't get pinched or damaged while riding.

Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.

Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
