A separate battery for the QMWheel V20 Cross. This 48-volt battery has a capacity of 22Ah, 1056Wh in total. With it, the V20 Cross rides up to 70 km, depending on assist level, weight and surface.
The battery can be charged in two ways:
In the bike: leave the battery in the frame and connect the charger to the bike. The display shows how full the battery is.
Separate from the bike: unlock the battery with the key and take it inside to charge. This helps the battery last as long as possible. Do not charge in a cold or very hot room.
Do not leave the charger on the saddle while charging, as it can get warm.
Comes with two matching keys.

You can easily swap the V20 Cross battery yourself: unlock the old battery with the key, slide it out of the frame and put the new one in until it clicks firmly into place. Then turn the lock closed again. Fully charge the battery before first use; an empty battery is full again in about 6 hours.

Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.

Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?

Can I tune my QMWheel V20 Cross?
Yes. With the tunable controller with the red motor plug (21A, 500W) your V20 Cross goes up to 45 km/h instead of 25 km/h. The plugs fit the original wiring exactly, so you can install it yourself. Riding tuned is only allowed on private property.
How fast does a tuned V20 Cross go?
With the tunable controller the V20 Cross reaches up to 45 km/h. As standard it is restricted to 25 km/h pedal assist. Riding above 25 km/h is only allowed on private property, not on public roads.
What does tuning a fatbike cost?
A tunable controller costs from 98 euro for the V20 family and the Ouxi models, and 179 euro for the GT2000. Fitting it yourself usually takes less than half an hour. Not sure which part fits your fatbike?
