Customer Reviews
ride to work along a gravel path every day. That is lovely on this one.
What a lovely bike!
With the front and rear suspension you barely notice tree roots and potholes.
My girlfriend sits behind me on the long saddle, perfectly doable. Getting on did take some practice.
Really highly recommended
Did a ride through the dunes yesterday. Those cross tyres grip well on sand.
Arrived in good nick, nothing was damaged. The box was just left on the pavement when I got home though.
With the Shimano gears you get through soft sand easily.
Feels really stable underneath you.
The battery comes out just like that, so I charge it in the hallway.
just does what it promises.
Ordered it assembled and it arrived ready to ride. Brakes were already set up, just had to get on.
Rides beautifully on the forest tracks near us.
Went Tunable for our own land. On the public road I just ride it restricted.
Looks tough in black
Asked a question on WhatsApp about the gears and got an explanation the same day.
What a super bike.
Ordered it boxed and put it together myself. Was perfectly doable.
You see the speed and battery level at a glance. In bright sunlight I find it harder to read.
Definitely go for it !
It is really not light, but that is exactly why it sits calmly on the road. On gravel that feels good.
The disc brakes bite nicely, with someone on the back too.
Was torn between a standard fatbike and this one. Glad I went for the Cross, even if it is heavy to lift.
It just rides beautifully
With the throttle you push it up a slope easily when you are walking beside it.
Everything was in order.
Over tarmac to the station in the week, into the woods at the weekend. This one does both perfectly well.
Exactly as it is described on the site.

You have questions, we have answers!
Everything you want to know about fatbikes, tuning and our service.
Why choose fatbikeklaar.nl?
We specialize in tunable fatbikes and parts. Over 500 happy customers have gone before you. Fast delivery, sharp prices, and customer service that truly thinks along with you.
Can I have my fatbike tuned by you?
Our fatbikes are tunable, and we also supply individual parts to upgrade your fatbike. Please note: tuning is only permitted on private property, not on public roads.
Is a fatbike still legal?
Yes, a fatbike that complies with current regulations (max. 25 km/h pedal assist and a 250W motor) is fully legal on public roads. Tuned models may only be used on private property.
What are the new fatbike rules for 2026?
As of 2026, stricter rules apply around age, helmet requirements, and vehicle specifications. Check our information page for the latest details.
Do you need a driver’s license for a fatbike?
You don’t need a driver’s license for a regular fatbike with pedal assist up to 25 km/h. You do for tuned models above that limit. Keep in mind those are only allowed on private property.
Why buy a fatbike?
A fatbike is comfortable, fast, and ready for any terrain, from city streets to the beach. Ideal for commuting and for fun. And with our tunable models, you get even more out of it.
Do you need a helmet on a fatbike?
A helmet is strongly recommended for your own safety. From 2026, a helmet requirement will be introduced for certain fatbike categories.
Can I tune my QMWheel V20 Cross?
Yes. With the tunable controller with the red motor plug (21A, 500W) your V20 Cross goes up to 45 km/h instead of 25 km/h. The plugs fit the original wiring exactly, so you can install it yourself. Riding tuned is only allowed on private property.
How fast does a tuned V20 Cross go?
With the tunable controller the V20 Cross reaches up to 45 km/h. As standard it is restricted to 25 km/h pedal assist. Riding above 25 km/h is only allowed on private property, not on public roads.
What does tuning a fatbike cost?
A tunable controller costs from 98 euro for the V20 family and the Ouxi models, and 179 euro for the GT2000. Fitting it yourself usually takes less than half an hour. Not sure which part fits your fatbike?
