Safety and the law

In the Restricted (250W) version you can ride it on the public road straight away: no number plate, no compulsory helmet and no insurance needed. The walk assist up to 6 km/h helps you when you walk beside the bike, up a slope for example.

Comfort and riding position

The steel frame has front and rear suspension. With the adjustable stem you set the handlebar in a position that suits your posture. Battery, display and charging

The battery has 48V, 15Ah and 720 Wh. Because it is removable, you can charge it indoors. That takes approx. 4 hours. After that you get up to 65 km. That is an upper limit: riding style, speed, tyre pressure, temperature, assistance level and terrain determine what you actually achieve. The bike has an LCD display with NFC.

Tuning: what is possible and what is allowed

If you choose the Restricted (250W) version, the Ouxi GT20 Pro reaches you with pedal assist up to 25 km/h and you do not have to set anything. In the Netherlands such a bike counts as a regular electric bicycle. If you choose Tunable, you tune it up to 50 km/h. The tuning parts are already included: you buy nothing separately and only pay the extra charge. You find separate parts in the tuning kits, and the product finder shows which part belongs to which model. If the assistance of an e-bike continues above 25 km/h, it falls under the speed pedelec or moped rules, with requirements for a number plate, helmet and insurance. A throttle that goes faster than 6 km/h without pedalling is not allowed on the public road. Tuned riding is allowed on private or enclosed property only; on the public road a maximum of 25 km/h pedal assist applies.

Service, warranty and delivery

You get 3 years warranty on the frame, and 1 year on moving parts and the battery. You choose how the bike arrives. If it comes boxed, you assemble it yourself. Assembled means: we build it up, adjust the brakes and check the battery, so it is ready to ride. Ordered before 23:59 is delivered tomorrow in the Netherlands. Delivery to Belgium and Germany is also possible, without that delivery time promise.
